FAQs
How do I set up or join a team?
You can create or join a team during registration. Simply follow the prompts to either start a team or search for an existing one. Whether you're running with family, friends, or colleagues — it’s more fun together!
Who can participate?
Everyone is welcome! Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a weekend walker, or a family with kids, Run For The Hills has a course for you. All fitness levels, all ages — all in support of a good cause.
Can I run with my dog?
Yes, but only in the Family Fun Run (3.7km).
Dogs must be on a lead and under control at all times. Owners accept full responsibility for their dog’s behaviour and safety. For more details, please read our Terms & Conditions.
Can my child register and run on their own?
Children under 16 years must be registered with an adult and accompanied by them on the day. We’re all about keeping it safe, fun, and family-friendly.
Can I run with my baby?
Absolutely! Babies are welcome in the Family Fun Run (3.7km) in prams. Just be sure your pram is suitable for uneven terrain, and take care around other participants.
How do I change my course?
If you’d like to switch to a different distance or event, please email our support team via the contact form or log into your Funraisin dashboard to make changes. Get in early — changes may not be available close to event day.
Where can I park on the day?
Parking will be available on the grassed area at the southern end of Bella Vista Farm, near the Bunya trees.
Enter via the concrete driveway off the sealed access road near Bella Vista Oval. Look out for signs and friendly volunteers to guide you.
What is the Colour Run?
The Colour Run is a fun and vibrant part of our shorter 3.4km Family Fun Run. Along the course, you’ll pass through optional colour stations where volunteers will gently throw coloured powder as you run by — creating a rainbow of joy, laughter, and great photo moments!
Not your thing? No worries.
The colour stations are completely optional — you can simply run around them and enjoy a clean course.
Will first aid be available?
Yes, First Aid will be on-site and patrolling the course. They’ll be ready to assist with first aid or support any participants in need.
Is there a finisher medal?
You bet! Every participant will receive an official Run For The Hills Finisher Medal at the end of their race — a token of achievement and a reminder of the difference you’ve made.
